Stone’s award winnnng Chef!
I’ve just heard some brilliant news! Jake Lowndes, a 19 year old chef at La Dolce Vita, has just won Third place in the Staffordshire Young Chef of Tomorrow Competition 2008.
Jake was shortlisted with three finalists from Alton Towers, one from Swinfen Hall near Lichfield and one from The Acton Trussell Moat House. Formidable competition indeed! So his achievement is all the more commendable. Well done, Jake!
And let’s hope that Jake’s is the first of many awards to chefs and restaurants in and around Stone in the near future.
